We are rapidly expanding and adding an outside Sales Representative in our Colville office. This individual will be responsible for selling high-speed wireless, fiber, and our new advanced wireless broadband internet services to residential and business customers.

The following are the job requirements:

  • 1+ year in a sales/service capacity.
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Action and results-oriented, customer focused, a team player and adaptable.
  • Active in the Northeast Washington community.
  • Self-starter and able to work both from our office in Colville and from home.
  • Business savvy, negotiation skills and ability to close business.
  • Good computer skills and knowledge of basic software packages.

The following are the job responsibilities:

  • Responsibility of meeting and exceeding new customer sales quotas (installations) and revenue objectives.
  • Build excellent customer relationships and promote NeuBeam’s efforts in Northeast Washington.
  • Describe NeuBeam products and benefits, negotiate and close business.
  • Assist with sales strategy planning and attend NeuBeam prospect and customer functions.
  • Facilitate customer retention, upgrade of service options and possess good follow-up skills.

Broadband Network Installer/Technician

As a NeuBeam Broadband Installer/Field Technician, you will learn to:

* Perform initial setup as well as troubleshoot and repair high speed wireless and fiber Internet service for customers

* Mount antenna/reflector on roof or post or side of home; running wiring from outside antenna to inside wall plate/plug; fastening wiring to outside roof/wall or run cable through attic to inside wall

* Align the antenna with the transmitter to achieve optimal performance

* Perform basic personal computer (PC), radio and Local Area Network (LAN) setup and repair

* Assist customers with initial PC configuration; demonstrating customer portal account setup, LAN setup, and managed router Smartphone App setup

* Present a clean and orderly appearance with great customer skills; use a courteous and professional approach to address customer questions and concerns

* Potentially train to install, service, and splice fiber optic networks

* Set up Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephone equipment and test for proper functionality

* Support network problem resolutions and repair support

* Maintain company vehicles and equipment

* Develop knowledge in RF, fiber networking, wireless radio operation, networks, routers, PC’s, WIFI and microwave communications

There is no experience required for this position, but we do expect successful candidates to have an excellent presence in front of customers, show up to work daily and on time, and plan on working hard with your team from 8:00 – 5:00 every day from Monday – Friday, with the possibility of some overtime. Must have an excellent driving record.

Tier II Support Technician

The Tier II Support Technician is primarily responsible for providing technical support by phone to customers of the NeuBeam ISP network from our Onancock, VA office location. The Tier II tech will work to resolve technical issues escalated by Tier I technical support. If remote resolution of the issue is not possible the Tier II Tech will escalate the ticket to Tier III or schedule to dispatch a field technician. Only qualified candidates who live locally should apply.

Tier II Technical Support Responsibilities:

  • 2-3 years remote technical support/help desk experience.
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals.
  • Experience supporting basic router and switch functions. (NAT, DHCP, Port forwarding, VLAN’s, DNS, ICMP).
  • Experience supporting 802.11 WiFi connectivity.
  • Experience in a fixed wireless network (PTP and PMP) preferred with a good grounding in RF fundamentals.
  • Experience working with customer management and ticketing software.
  • Self-motivated, able to work productively with minimal supervision.
  • Able to quickly research equipment and software functions and features.
  • Proficient with basic Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to document complex technical issues.
  • Must be organized and able to manage multiple schedules.
  • Experience supporting desktop and mobile operating systems.
  • Customer service training (ability to maintain call control and work with customers to resolve issues).
  • Flexible schedule (on-call and shift may be required).
  • Some administrative duties required.
